Cheadle High School

I worked with Cheadle High School to set up a web server which was to be used to provide the school’s Moodle Virtual Learning Environment.

This involved installing and configuring an Ubuntu system with a standard LAMP setup (Apache, MySQL, PHP). Along with the setup of a domain name which would be used for students to access the service.

In addition I also assisted with the migration of users and data from a previous Windows installation, to ensure that everything went as smoothly as possible, additionally setting up a backup solution which ensured that all data was backed up on a daily bases.
